heute war der auftakt des "where is the edge now, yeah!"-festival in der electronic church im pb, berlin. experimentelle elektronische musik und kultur von berliner künstlern an drei tagen. näheres liest man in den infos weiter unten. heute spielten stephane leonhard, über dessen arbeit man sich wunderbar hierrüber informieren kann, der sich aber auch durch einen sehr lesenswerten blog auszeichnet. weiterhin traten auf greg haines, der für mich das intensivste und ergreifendste konzert heute spielte, als auch crystal plumage und daisuke ishida. das ganze festival kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen, da es auch für mich relativ neu war, doch man sich einfach auch mal auf ein bißchen zumindest scheinbares chaos einlasse sollte. open up your hearts.

"Where is the edge now, yeah!" is therefore looking for the status quo of the diversity of approaches [re-]configuring the berliner network of experimental music. Artist who take part are mostly born in the late seventies or early eighties. Curated by Shintaro Miyazaki.

"Where is the edge now, yeah!" is based at Electronic Church, which is a new base for our network in Berlin. Participiating artists mostly have played here before.
