MAGIC OF THE RAINBOW aus dem Trendbezirk Berlin-Kreuzkölln sind der böse kleine Bruder der jahrelang auf dem Dachboden versteckt wurde, wo zufällig auch Punkplatten und Rotwein gelagert wurde. Vier in "richtigen" Bands spielende gereifte Hipster sind hier für jeden Trash bereit. Yay!

SHOKEI Disassembling the early Unwound/Touch and Go jigsaw puzzle with their bare teeth, they seem to transcend such borders and brandish their own urgent, dischordant mess upon the masses. Song after song, you are served a melodic hammer to the head until you are too dizzy to deny them. DD/MM/YYYY - Toronto's lovable crew of attention-deficit chord-changers are trying to confuse you. Every single decision they make is confounding and enigmatic, and just when you think you have them figured out, they stop whatever they're doing just to fuck with you. It would be frustrating if it wasn't so weirdly enjoyable, mathematic yet danceable and, in spite of all their sonic riddles, strangely catchy. YAY!
